Volunteer of the Year Award
This year our YSI group decided to introduce a volunteer of the year award to encourage volunteering in our school and also to commend those who do volunteer.
A winner is chosen from the junior cycle of students - 1st, 2nd and 3rd years- and a second winner is chosen from the senior cycle of students - TY, 5th and 6th years. This year we took part in the youth leadership conference in Portlaoise college, and we won first place and two tablets which we decided to award to the volunteer of the year.
