Me and my classmates arrived at the train station at about nine o’clock in the morning. Our train journey up to Dublin consisted of practising our speech we were going to pitch to the YSI dragons.

We arrived at Boston college in put on our blazers and prepared

ourselves. The nerves began to kick in. The other girls and I went into the room. The dragons asked us questions like ‘what have you achieved so far?’ and ‘how do you hope to expand your project?’ We took pictures of our volunteering posters. At that stage we had developed and printed our volunteering booklets.

When we came out we were so relieved that we had done well in our pitch. When we were called back in we were told we had been funded 250 euro for our website development. We were so happy to let our other team mates know about our success.
