Make A Wish

We helped to fundraise for the "Make a Wish Foundation".

We had a bake sale in school and half of the profits were donated to the charity. We then sold wristbands and badges in Abbeyleix, which we got a permit for. The wrist bands and badges were 2 euro each.

A lot of the fifth year students got involved, which we were happy to see. It meant we were fulfilling our wish which was to get more young people volunteering. I really enjoyed helping out and selling wristbands and badges to people because it was for an excellent cause. It felt good because I knew the money was going to someone who deserved it.
